Your support can make a difference. One of the most powerful ways you can support First Nations justice is by making a financial donation to their organisations. Below you will find links to the Donation pages of some First Nations’ organisations working in different areas.

Aboriginal Housing Victoria: Support work to ensure that Aboriginal Victorians secure appropriate, affordable housing as a pathway to better lives and stronger communities.

All Together Now: Your donation will help us continue with our critical anti-racism work and to counter far-right extremism and hateful fake news and conspiracy theories. It will help us increase our capacity to build evidence-based projects including research, training and anti-racism education that promote racial equity for all Australians.

Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS): With your support, languages at risk of becoming critically endangered over the next ten years will be maintained, strengthened and revived, songlines will be recorded and precious Indigenous culture and heritage will be safeguarded in the AIATSIS Collection for the use of communities of origin for many generations to come.

Black Rainbow: Support community initiatives and outreach activities including a micro-grants program for social events and gatherings, pre-paid data and phone credit for those in need, a Futures Fund, annual glossary posters and a pilot project with the Tiwi Island Sistergirls.

Books’n’Boots: This First Nations lead and operated not for profit, based in Yarraville, have worked tirelessly to close the literacy gap and support children with their education. You can also support the Books’n’Boots  organisation with a new GoFundMe fundraiser for staffing.

Dhadjowa Foundation: Your donation will go directly to supporting families affected by a Black death in custody and the foundations operations.

Djirra: Support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children on their journeys away from family violence.

Friends of Myall Creek: The Friends are currently raising funds for the construction of a world class ‘educational and cultural centre’, which already has Development Application approval. Every donation helps toward achieving this valuable project. 

Grandmothers Against Removals: Support the work to stop the ongoing removal of children from Aboriginal families the perpetuation of the Stolen Generations.

Indigenous Ministries Australia: Support church ministries in VIC, SA, NSW and WA.

Indigenous Social Justice Association: Donate to help those who work to stop Aboriginal deaths in custody and support Aboriginal peoples’ quest for justice.

Indigenous X: IndigenousX is a 100% Indigenous owned and operated media, consultancy, and training organisation. IndigenousX believes in the principles of self-determination and works to effect change by upholding Indigenous knowledges, voices and ways of being.

** Koondee Woonga-gat Toor-rong: A First Nations-led philanthropic fund committed to delivering philanthropy services that align to and progress the aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people residing in Victoria.

Koorie Heritage Trust: Choose a donation option including public, exhibition and oral history programs or digitisation for online access to KHT collections or supporting acquisitions of Koorie artworks and objects.

** Pay The Rent: Your donation is managed and allocated  to grassroots causes and campaigns with a focus on protecting First Nations rights, including practical support such as sustaining a Funeral Fund, as determined by the Pay The Rent Grassroots Collective.

Seed Mob: Your support can ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people are supported in leading the generation wide movement to solve the climate crisis.

Sisters Inside: Support the #freeher campaign for ending the impoverishment of Aboriginal women and removal of their children.

SNAICC – National Voice for our Children: Your donation can help continue advocacy for reform in policy and practice in the areas of child protection, early years education and upholding the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families.

Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service (VALS): Your donation will help to ensure that everyone who wants access to high quality, culturally safe legal assistance is able to.

Victoria University First Nations Fund: Your gift to the Darrabarruk Turt-Barram (First Nations Stars) grant in Victoria University’s First Nations Fund will encourage more students in years 8-12 to think about tertiary study before they leave school.
