The event included a Q&A with Brenda Matthews, the director and subject of the film; book signing; introduction to SNAICC by Gretchen Young. The event raised over $2500 which will help fund a National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day event (4 August).

4. Advocate to Federal government for Citizenship Ceremonies to be moved to another day.
Petition tabled at general Council meeting on May 17, 2022.
April 8, 2022Film EventJAM! was provided a 'Love your Local' grant through Maribyrnong City Council to hold a 'pop-up' film event at Railway Reserve, Footscray. Uncle Ringo Terrick gave a Welcome to Country and music was performed by Jonathan Binge AKA Caution @MOBCaution; film screened was Top End Wedding.

JAM! meets and works in ‘Mirring-gnay-bir-nong’ (Maribyrnong), which can translate as ‘I can hear a ringtail possum’, on the stolen lands of the Bunurong/Boonwurrung and Wurundjeri/Woiwurrung of the Kulin Nation.
